OUTDOORS PROJECT: The Bear River Watershed Council is seeking volunteers to curb off-road vehicle trespass in the Mount Naomi Wilderness and repair existing damage in the area. I hope the fences stop the illegal vehicle use. Those of us who enjoy mechanized vehicles need to realize that illegal use of OHV's makes it much easier for SUWA (and others) to argue for more closures. We are often our own worst enemy. If you see illegal OHV use, please remind those doing it to stop. They will ruin it for all of us.

I got a report about this project. The turnout was 5 to 1 in favor of motorized users. Hmm, where were all the hikers, bikers, and protectors of Gaia?
