Rode most of Ridge Trail 157, Timpooneke and Pine Hollow last night. Mostly good to go- just a couple spots of snow still on the Puke Hill section of Timpooneke. With the warm weather this week even that should all be gone by the weekend. The gate is still closed at the Pine Hollow trailhead (and big parking lot) so I peddled up the road until I could take off on Timpooneke. Pine Hollow is a bugger to climb up- too much loose stuff, too steep, but it's a blast going down! Does anybody else ever get creeped out when riding the high alpine trails alone? I ride these trails alone allot and every once in a while, like last night, I feel like I'm being watched- I swear I even heard voices in the trees even though I know no one was there. (que the scary music) Ooooooohhhhh!

Thanks for the trail report.

I've yet to be freaked out while riding alone, mostly because I'm breathing too loud to hear voices in the trees. :lol8:

I'm totally used to the voices. If they stop, then I'll be freaked out.

Usually they talk about sand animals, made of sand. Nobody gets that joke!

Yeah, you are scaring the animals! :lol8:

Thanks for the heads up tallsteve. We will have to add this to our Tuesday ride rotator. :2thumbs:
