La Quinta, CA - Clif Bar & Co. honored Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort with the 2007 Golden Eagle Award for Overall Environmental Excellence by a ski resort, citing Snowbird

this should be augmented with the SKI AREA ENVIRONMENTAL SCORECARD, which has been evaluating the environmental policies and management of ski areas since 2000. i remember during that time Sundance ski area was at the very top with a score of 90, according to that year's criteria.

you can click on a ski area, see its grade, then it gives the breakdown of the grade and the reasoning for the grading.

while snowbird got this award, they still are at a C. they've consistently been between D-C from the beginning of the scorecard. but i guess they're trying to improve.
