Yeah, wondering where Ive been?? After a tough week at work and my bike shop we headed to Casper, Wy to watch a play that my oldest son is lighting design and stage manager of when the big snow hit...we are stuck here in the hotel along with an entire FULL hotel of screaming kids until the roads clear( I didnt drive my jeep so Im screwed!) :lol8:

sometimes it's fun to be stuck somehwere in the snow, though i prefer a ski area after a good day of skiing

I didn't mind being stuck in Capitol Reef, but not sure about Casper, WY. glad you made it home safely.

:haha: thanks! Casper is not the city you want to be stuck in in a snowstorm OR the winter....people getting stuck in the streets, treelimbs falling on you driving down the street....at least the people kinda know how to drive in it. over a foot of wet snow came down in less than two hours & no plows out to clean up...whole neighborhoods covered in broken branches. We stayed in the Best Western Ramkota Inn - not a bad place but with I-25 closed going right through town every hotel was completely full 'cause you DONT want to be stuck in a storm out in the middle of a wyoming wilderness(everything here is wilderness)
Is it true that there is only one orthodontist for every 300sq miles in WY

maybe so, lots of em share teeth(heehee)...really, I think they all reside in Sweetwater County(southwest wyoming) 'cause there is an overabundance of teeth people here. Problem is, its SO far to the next big city that they can pretty much name their price and get it...........or you get used to driving to SLC or Denver. Casper is the largest city in Wyoming(I think) Cheyenne maybe a close second but neither is any larger than Sandy...Casper could fill half the SL valley in size but not people...it's just spread out.

....and there's only 49,000 people in casper....that's the same as ALL of southwest wyoming....

..SO, Utah need not fear:
-an invasion from Wy ie; people moving in from the state and taking over the Wasatch Front because our houses sold for a million dollars and we could build cheaper there.
-too many hunters coming in taking over the hunt.
-anything really....more people in the SL valley than in the ENTIRE state.
