Another good beginner trip from the grotto site. This is a good cave to start out on. It's been vandalized A LOT but there's still a few formations to look at, and is a fun cave to scramble around in.

This is a beginner-friendly trip to Oak City Cave. Current plan is to leave Salt Lake at 8:00 am on the 12th, and be back by early evening. Let me know if you are planning to come, and we will work out a meeting place to carpool.

We will drive within a few hundred yards of the cave. You will likely want gloves, a camera, and a lunch. Helmets/Lights are required, I have 2-3 loaners if necessary.

The cave itself has one spot that requires a climb/scramble. Roughly 6 feet high with good handholds, then a steep slope for another 5-10 feet above. I have lifted 12 year olds up the \"climb\" high enough where they can scramble up many times. Adults are in charge of lifting themselves.
