I've walked that path with a close friend. Death is a part of life, but that doesn't make it any easier to watch life end when it's supposed to be just beginning. Bless the human spirit for fighting.

My wife lost her mother and her first husband to cancer. Abby says, "Cancer is evil. Just plain evil."

I don't think I'll show her those images.

not much fun watching family die. i can't even imagine the grief and guilt of burying a child after such a battle. nor do i want to.

a childs life should be nothign but giggles and hugs.
