Moab Last Weekend

Thought I would post a few pics from our weekend trip. We rode Porcupine Rim in the morning, great lunch at McStiffs and then Sovereign.

Porcupine is awesome as always, your checks hurt from grinning so much, your other checks hurt as well. :eek2: . This was my first time on Sovereign and I love that trail. Everyone I was with kept mentioning how Sovereign incorporates aspects of their favorite trails. This is one I will be riding again and again.

Schlingdawg, Sovereign Singletrack is north of Moab between Hwy 191 and Arches - reached from the Dalton Wells Road or Willow Springs Road.

Where is Sovereign?

It is just North of the Shell Station before you drop into Moab. We drove up the Willow Springs Road and road the blue line out to about the dirt road. We turned around because it was getting dark, however it looks like you can loop around and come back the same trail you go out on.

I usually don't like the out and back option just because it seems like I am riding the same trail; however, on Sovereign it was completly different feel going out and back.

I like the picture of the upside down bike repair. Common sight in Moab. I went down there last weekend and to my surprise there were no flats from our group of 6 people.
