Good one Beech!
I don't mean to sound to stupid here, but is this real or is this a late April Fool's Day joke?
Can I use TiSP if my home uses a septic system?
Sorry, but no -- TiSP requires the use of a central sewer system to connect your home to the Internet.
Can I still use my toilet after installing TiSP?
Do we look stupid? Needless to say, the fiber optic cable that enables TiSP will not interfere with your toilet's regular operations. For your own convenience, however, you may eventually wish to hire a professional contractor to help route the cable under, or through, the toilet seat to your TiSP wireless router.

It's very real. Google has been investing in sewage line connections since 2004. They've kept the gossip underground, since it's a crappy line of work.
The methane gases are what power the modems and transmitters, and they have begun giving bonuses to High Protein Households, or HPH's.
During the setup in 2006, many sewer pipe cameras were used to inspect the lines for leaks, or blockages caused by roots growing into the seams. Sometimes these cameras would come all the way up to the toilet.
Often times, the camera would have to be immediately retracted, as the lens would get soiled, or what they would call "TiSP Static".
I was part of this team. My job was inspecting the lines going to the High School Girls Locker rooms. I was fired after my productivity went down.

I can see Beech never wanting another job after that.
