Man, once you get to a certain point, it's just super high maintenance. About 7 years ago, (arrogance aside) I considered myself pretty ripped. 6'2", 179 lbs. But that was from the gym 6 days a week. It didn't leave room for much else.
You can tell by the time the dude starts tanning, he's past the point of no return. Poor bastard.

That's awesome! Inspirational too. Amazing how much a few months of persistance will go. I think he should have stopped in August of 2003. It seems he went from ripped, cut and lookin super good to less ripped, but bulkier. I like the ripped look myself.

He should have stopped after about 4 months. Still those first 5 months were really impressive.

Once you get as bulky as he is Feb 2007, you just can't do anything.

Waterskiing, mtn biking, backpacking, they're all out. You can't even jog comfortably.

I tried this about 6 years ago...went as far as using Hydroxycut for months...found out I had highblood pressure...had to stop taking it or anything like it. Yeah, I was ripped - looked great - but was an ass to live with. Never again! Now I just try to eat right and exercise. Not as ripped anymore but I feel better and actually have more stamina than I used to.
..not my idea of 'better to burn out than to fade away' :ne_nau:

He should have maintained at 4/2003-5/2003! He just got all slick and shiny after that.
