You may have seen this before, there are many sources for this info.

You can see a map of where the Registered Sex Offenders live, and if any are near your children.

The red dots indicate offenses against children.

Several people I know from High School are on the National Sex Offenders list. I think that is really sad. I am very in favor of these websites, but it is a lot like a "Scarlet Letter". But again, I can't stress enough how much I support the efforts against sexual offenders!

but wheres the registered murderers, registered car jackers, registered wife beaters, registered identity theft offenders, registered burgulars, registered muggers, and registered corrupt politicians websites? I want to know if any of them live near me too.

you shouldn't need a website to tell where they are, just lock them all up and keep them there. i don't believe jail rehabilitates.

and change the name from department of corrections to department of punishment.

I'm not really sure how I feel about these type of lists.

As a father with two young girls I am certainly concerned with their safety.

But It seems to me that after a man has served his debt to society he should be given a fair chance to become a productive citizen. Unless registering is a condition for parole?

holy crap look at all them squares !

i got 2 men convicted of child sexual abuse living in my apartment complex. one w/in eyeshot of my place.
