View Full Version : Trip Report Possession Bay viewpoint trail

This was a short hike up the hillside in Possession Bay, which is the southern tip of Whidbey Island. It was simply called Viewpoint trail and went up a hill about 1 mile then back down the opposite side of the hill into a residential area.

washington or oregon ? i got a brother in sequim, wa. love those olympics.

It's from Washington. I only had one day to see Olympic National Park but it was incredible. I would love to go back when the weather better, but I still had a great time.

i thought so. whidbey sounded familiar. i especially loved the olympic np coastal unit. WOW. all the tide pools full of urchins and anemones and starfish and mussels. realllly cool ! and those huge trees. saw lots of bears in the high country, but no goats or roosevelt elk. darn. a beautiful place fro sure. when you get back there again make sure to check out the onp rain forests. the forest there seems manicured in places, it just couldn't be untiuched by man ! ferns as high as my belly and huge banana slugs and tiny tree frogs and mushrooms the colors of teh rainbow.
