As far as I can tell, it's 100% fake. He's using this page to sell his Jeep to people, with no intention of ever delivering said vehicle to the buyer.

I looked up his ebay ID - nvll77 but it doesn't exist. He's manufactured everything on the page and hosted it to another lookalike, soundalike webpage.

Maybe I'm missing something, but it looks like a used Rubicon = a nice one at that. Salvage title - not bad price. Good looking Jeep.

Thieves piss me off. He originally listed this on Craigslist. $8500 for a 03 Rubicon is way too good to be true.

I just wonder how many people will fall for it.

Now I see. There's no way to check the guy's feedback or even bid on it. I have a friend who is the HR Manager for ebay down in Draper - I'll shoot it over to him.

Hmmm, at first glance I thought it was a phishing site trying to get people to enter their ebay account information. But, all the links go to valid ebay pages. There's some kind of scam, but I'm not sure what it is.

I tried to find it on ebay motors - nothing listed. I also tried to search off the listing number - nothing found.

did a google search - didn't come up with much....I did find another ebay motors listing and was able to read the feedback and the ebay listing is legit.

It's still pretty suspicious to me.

That's not a good selling point - it means his Jeep isn't very good at picking up chicks that smoke - and we all know that if you smoke...you poke :2thumbs:
