I've seen the lights lots of times, and I never tire of them.

Really!?! How long ago?

I remember on the movie "Frequency" the Northern Lights were supposed to be in NYC, and I thought that was far fetched. That is so cool that you saw them here.

As I said before I have seen the lights lots of times. The first time I saw them, they weren't really colors, but looked more like clouds dancing. I have since seen lots of colors (mostly green & pink)

beautiful!! i've lived in alaska for 20 years until i moved half time to new zealand, and have seen them lots of time. never did get tired of them. i even belonged to a phone tree which would call you up in the dead of night if they were out.

They were visible just outside of Moab in the spring of 2001 I think.

Yup... spring of 2001 Utah got hit with the lights for a major show. You had to be away from the city lights see real well. From the city it just looked like there was a big fire behind the Oquirah Mountains.

Utah usually get a couple of small light shows each year, but again, you have to be away from the city lights to see.

Sweet pic. I have seen them many times in Northern Alberta and British Columbia.

They kind of remind me of the personal fireworks show you get if you close your eyes and push on the eyelids.

I met some funny old people that would say, "If you whistle they will dance." (They dance even if you don't whistle)
