I finally got around to taking some pictures of my new mini 14. I got this gun on a trade for a 9mm handgun. For me it was a good trade. I am thinking of putting a C-more open dot laser sight on it. See link for info. http://www.impactguns.com/store/cmore_railway_click.html

I can't wait to go shoot. If anyone has any bulk .223 ammo they would like to get rid of send me P.M. I am interested now that I have some thing to shoot it.

So that shoots .223 huh? Cool. You'll have to take it out Rabbit Hunting with us.

That looks like a fine firearm that will serve you well. Give Center Street Brass in Provo a try..they have .223 for pretty cheap.

Sure, IMO the synthetic makes it much more comfortable to shoot :2thumbs:

I agree with the good Rev. here, you can't lose the wood stock for an ugly piece of plastic.

I like the mini - not a huge fan - figure if I'm going with a .223 then the AR15 is my choice - maybe it's because I was in the AF and they didn't let us desk jockeys breath on the M16 - figured we'd shoot ourselves :)

No the wood is staying around. I prefer the wood stock over a piece of plactic any day of the week.. :2thumbs:

I agree, I think I would rather shoot an AR15, but for the price the mini-14 is great for me. It will definatley do a great job out bunny hunting. :defend:

If you don't mind me asking - how much was the mini? I've looked at putting together my own AR15 and have found the upper and lower for a price around $500-530. Then the purchase of the mags - so into it about $600 total. Not bad.
