This video makes it seem pretty lame. There was a 4 min. fireworks display that left a cloud, so you can't even see it.

Less is more, a lesson lost to denizens of Vegas. These implosions seem less magical to me after witnessing the twin towers collapse so neatly with no guidance whatsoever. Well, OK, debris falling from the towers did damage/destroy other buildingings in the vicinity, but the chaos stayed within a pretty tight circle considering how tall the towers were.
