I was supposed to go camping last night in the Swell.
I was then supposed to go snowshoeing today in the Uintas.
So, what am I doing today? Spring cleaning.
My wife sprung it on, and she got dressed up in some funny super cleaning hero costume, so I couldn't say no.
What a bummer.

Ah dang dood. I am watching kids this morn while my wife goes to the spa. Hour massage and facial. But later today I'll be changing my transmission and final drive oil on my motor-cicle. Getting ready for a two day ride next weekend. :cool2: Then watch the spazz game tonight...maybe with some takeout cafe rio. :2thumbs:

Sorry about missing out on the swell, where were you planning on going? I am headed down soon I think we are going to hit a few spots in the hidden splendor area.
I think I am going to sit on my ass today then watch the jazz game maybe I will do a little hike on the shoreline trail. I really need to get my ankle ready for some real hiking. Still cant pedal my bike around yet, sucks big time.

The boys and I are hitting the Swell next weekend, probably Muddy Creek, its my first solo trip with the boys, eekkks! I'm actually pumped about Daylight savings being early now, gives up a really good chance at getting their before sundown.

Yeah, yesterday was not exactly a good day for me.
I did deep cleaning for 6 hours. Then I went bedspread shopping for a couple of hours (Target ended up being the best place to buy the "Bed in a Bag"). After cleaning and shopping, I had to go to my wife's company party.
Party sounds cool, but it was a fashion show. All and all it was a pretty girlie day.
My weekend fleshed out the same exact way. It happens to be a rainy Sunday anyway, so here we are. :ne_nau:

That's too bad. We spent a beautiful day visiting the old Paria Townsite (pity those vandals burned it), driving Cottonwood Canyon, visiting Cottonwood Wash, Grosvenor Arch, then driving skutumpah Road and hiking Willis Creek. lots of driving, but a fun day in the wilderness. Will eventually post photos.
After reading this post, I went out and decided to take pics instead  Too damn icy around the stuff I wanted to shoot :frustrated: I still got some, always worth it to get out :five:
Will eventually post photos.

I'm thinking Hondo arch but that could be difficult right out of the gate, I talked it over with my 7 year old and he really wants to go, he loves Temple Mtn and Little wild horse canyon. He's into scaling the walls, we might make it easy and do that if we go to the Muddy I'll let you know how it is.

My ex agreed to letting us take my dog.... Yay! I won't be totally alone, he's like 77 in dog years.

Tomsich Butte/Hondoo arch area, no dog, just me and the two boys. I leave work at 10:30, I've spent serious amounts of cash to get my gear up to snuff again (1/2 of it was missing, go figure). I can't wait, this will be a blast....
