This is semi-related to Utah and the outdoors, plus I thought everyone on here might like the shots. My squadron deployed to Peru a few weeks back and I caught these shots on the 10 hr return flight from Lima. The last 30 min or so as we coasted in over the Wasatch approaching sunset were just spectacular - a great way to cap off the trip. It made me perk up for the landing too, which is always good :haha:
It always amazes me the different perspective you get while airborne. Feel free to share any flying shots from around the area, I would enjoy that!

Those are awesome Beau! I love the one of the two planes banking with Antelope Island in the background.. that is just too cool! :2thumbs:
Hmmm... You fly jets all day and I stare at my computer all day. Not fair :frustrated:
After my own heart.

Wow - some really sweet photos - fast and slow airplane shots. Thanks for sharing those.
I keep debating buying at least a share in an airplane (I dream of Cirrus, but a Maule would probably suit me better), but it's so damn expensive. On the other hand, I'd really love to fly down to desert country, and not in a rental.
Perhaps a couple more years... :ne_nau:

My bad. I should have also thanked you for serving before I asked any questions. I just got excited. I really do appreciate the men and women such as yourself who are serving in the military.

Thanks everyone...glad you liked the shots. Sometimes the lighting works out just right and this was one of those times. Luckily I was able to have my camera in the cockpit, which usually isn't the case due to regs!
DiscoGo - yest 10 straight hours flying...plus another 45 min before takeoff to get strapped in and clearance to depart. Made for one long day and a sore everything. Can't complain though...flyin' the Viper is a sweet gig :2thumbs:
Those shots around the south are great!
Beau
Thanks everyone
No, thank you for everything :2thumbs:
