What radio station does everyone listen to? Around Cache Valley I listen to 95.9 most of the time, but when I get to Salt Lake I like the Arrow 103.5. I can listen to 103 pretty solid until they start with Sir Elton then I have to switch to something else. Is there another good Classic rock station in the SLC area?
If they're playing Air Supply please keep it to yourself.

If you like 103.5 you'd probably like 105.7 The River. A lot like 103.5 but with more unusual music from classic rockers - not a lot of stuff that was played (back when) until you thought you'd die if you heard it one more time. There are songs on 103.5 that I am STILL tired of hearing. :haha: 99.5 is a good station too. More current type of music, but not real headbanger-ish. :chairshot:

For those who like a mellow/romantic/relaxing type of music, check out the Breeze 97.9 Great jazz and some other new age type stuff. It's good background music when I'm working or doing other things when I don't want Ozzy creating the mood. :2thumbs:

Mostly talk radio for me. KSL in the morning and mid-day, about an hour of Hannity (that's about all I can take) then maybe some Dr. Laura then Glenn Beck on the drive home (he makes me laugh!).

This might surprise you, but as you know, most of my non-radio music is hard rock, metal, and death metal.

But when it comes to radio, I actually listen to 97.9 The Breeze, Smooth Jazz. I like the mellow stuff, mainly because of the guitar instrumentals.

I'm growing tired of the current Rock guitar "talents". They're empty to me.

A man after my own heart! :haha: I love the Breeze. It's surprising how many ex-rockers are now jazz musicians. Craig Chaquiso (sp?) used to be with Jefferson Airplane/Starship and even Slash from Guns and Roses. I really like Paul Taylor and also the Jazzmasters. :2thumbs:

Yeah, it's just relaxing, and still has great guitarists.

But when it's not radio, that's another story. :rockit:

90.9, radio free Utah.

Breakfast jam in the morning, drive time in the afternoon.

And they list their playlists on the 'net.

The tuesday afternoon guy, Steve, has MC'd a few shows here in the valley over the years. He's pretty tall. When we'd go to a show, we'd all agree to "meet at Steve".

I get tired of the same ol' same ol'...

Listener sponsered seems the way to go for new stuff.

KRCL 90.9

I have found so many great artists on KRCL. When I'm in the car for more then 30 min or so, I'll take my ipod / itrip with me. When on the bike, I don't listen to music, I feel safer listening to traffic and my own thoughts. :D

I also listen to country music, I love it. But country isn't very popular in Germany.

I like 101.5 The Eagle and 98.7 WMZQ Country
Thanks to livestream radio, so I'm able to listen to them
