Looking for a Good Hike

I am looking for a good hike that I can take my scouts on up A.F. canyon. I want them to take packs but i have some boys who are a little over weight and I don't want to be packing them down. All suggestions welcome.

In the winter or summer? If its summer take them up Timp.

If they can't make it to the top of Timp you can always just go up to the Emerald Lake area at the base. Another option would be Silver Lake, or if you have 4wd you can even pack up to Pittsburgh Lake.
