So? What scares wimmin?

The list is long, but impressive. :hail2thechief: Nah - not really. :haha:

I have had a lot happen in my lifetime, so not a whole lot scares me. My favorite expression is "That which does not kill us, makes us stronger" I'm still here. :2thumbs:

Probably the scariest thing (to me) would be having something happen physically - like getting cancer or having a debilitating accident that leaves you paralyzed. Basically having to deal with something that is beyond your control and can change (or end) your life.

Perhaps that just boils down to:

1. Recognizing your own mortality. :ghost:

2. MEN. Well - actually, the effect that men have on me. I love men but they make me crazy! :dizzy:

3. Giant black widow spiders that hide under recreational port-a-let toilet seats. :eek2:

4. Not having on your "good" underwear and having to be brought into the Emergency room. :nono:

As far as I know, my wife (Abby) is only afraid of one thing: snakes!

Men

Why?

The emotions I can get for a man are powerful. The lust and temptation tend to control me.

I know a few guys who could help you get over that lust and temptation, but probably not the fear.

Livin' in Hatch (many of you know that Hatch is a quick blink along the highway) I could use that list. I could swallow my fear of the other.

I was going to say "seaweed" or any aquatic vegetation growing from a lake bottom. Not throwing it at me while sitting on the beach (that is not scary), but swimming and having it touch my body.

Murky lakes or streams where I can't see the bottom is scary too - in terms of crossing it.

I must be deep as a puddle! :ne_nau:

Scott's list doesn't ring any bells. Maybe no. 1!

Mr. Patterson - now dont you have a very stereotypical veiw of women?? I dont think this list pertains to too many of us on this website!
Here's the real deal on your list:
1. Shane
Hmmmmm, possibly...
2. Sex more than once a day
I think you have this wrong, isnt this a male fear??
3. Broken nails
Are you kidding? Let's add some dirt and they'd be perfect!
4. Bad hair days
That's what pony tails are for!
5. Small or saggy breast
Got 'em (small) love 'em! wouldnt' want them any other way!
6. Socks that don't match their shirts
If you're wearin' socks, you're wearin' pants, and no one can tell anyway!
7. Being under appreciated
This may be true, however, I figure I'm doin' what I do because I love it, or want to, not for some outside recognition.
8. Having someone be honest when they ask if they look fat
Dont ask if you dont really want to know, that's my philosophy.
9. Forgotten valentines and anniversaries.
Dont do Valentines, and I'm usually the one who forgets anniversaries. Actually, this year I'm going away for a week during our anniversary. Fortunately, my husband rocks, and he's cool with it!
10. Small creepy crawly things
OK, ya got me on this one... spiders and centipedes and leeches, oh my!

Top scariest thing to women (just guesses):

1. Shane

Shane is not scarey at all. He just wants to have sex with the body instead of the mind and body. :ne_nau: A man to fear does both. :naughty: If he ever went for the mind, the man would be dangerous!

2. Sex more than once a day

Please...... and foreplay in between and porn and anything else you can think of. I want to be excited all day long!

3. Broken nails

Long nails are gross.

4. Bad hair days

I just let it dry natural. Never have them.

5. Small or saggy breast

I love big breasts!!!!!

6. Socks that don't match their shirts

Socks are only for hiking.

7. Being under appreciated

Now this makes me mad! Appriciate me Baby. You are easily replaceable!

8. Having someone be honest when they ask if they look fat

Never ask a man anything. They just say what you want to hear, but yeah... women can be brutal!

9. Forgotten valentines and anniversaries.

I always forget anniversaries and birthday but when it comes to something sexual don't forget!!!

10. Small creepy crawly things.

I love entomology!!!! Bilogy Major here :haha:

No motivation = Passion = No Way!!!!!

I am highly motivated... to do nothing but traipse about the deserts and mountains, float the lakes, and roll down the dirt roads.

I have wunderlust, a terminal case, I'm also severely afflicted with next-benditis (an incurable syndrome that makes me insanely curious about what's around the next bend in the river/road/canyon).

Where does that score on the Tanyameter?

I hope by motivation you don't mean generational wealth creation or sumpin, I think that it doesn't matter if I win or lose the rat race, if I'm in the race, I'm still a rat. :haha:

No offense to you successful rats, somebody needs to grab that cheese.

Tanyameter only moves when the passion is directed at tanya which I like to be a full time thing.

Mr. Patterson - now dont you have a very stereotypical veiw of women??

Hey, I thought that this was a poking fun type thread, not one we were supposed to be politically correct or something. :ne_nau:

6. Socks that don't match their shirts

I'm actually lucky to have a wife that doesn't care about broken nails, bad hair days, makeup etc, but have always wondered what it is with women and matching socks.

8. Having someone be honest when they ask if they look fat
Dont ask if you dont really want to know, that's my philosophy.

Excellent point. :five:

9. Forgotten valentines

One thing about (some) women is when you ask them, "what do you want for valentines" and they say "oh, nothing". I dare any man to get them nothing after they say "oh nothing". :naughty: Anyone here ever tried it? Never tried it myself. I don't like sleeping outside without a blanket.

28. Having someone be honest when they ask if they look fat

Never ask a man anything. They just say what you want to hear, but yeah...

We only say what you want to hear because we value our lives. We don't like to admit it, but teh thought of an angry women scares us.

Since I'm a pretty honest guy, I'm glad my wife is skinny. Otherwise, if she wasn't and if she ever asked that question I may have had my funeral a long time ago.

From personal experience, this is a reeeeeeally bad idea of relying on the "oh nothing" thing or dealing with women. This is the confusing stuff women do to us men. Here is my story. I was in school years ago, we were poor and we made a deal which was..... nothing, I say NOTHING for Valentines day. I of course kept the deal. On Valentines Day, I wished my wife a happy Valentines day and that was it. She wrote on the mirror Happy Valentines day and made me a nice dinner. That was it. But some how I screwed up an didn't get her anything. She said a card would have been nice. I reminded her of the deal. Oh the tears, oh the weeping, oh how absolutely crappy and guilty I felt. How was I to know that I was supposed to break the deal. I told my dad about this shortly after and he just shook his head and said, "Son, I did that once too. I wish you would have asked me first before you made the same mistake." There you have it. It is genetic.

Now don't get me wrong, I love my wife dearly and we have a great marriage. But fellas, do NOT make this mistake of making deals with women regarding holidays or birthdays or anniversaries. If you do make the deal (so as to cut the conversation short cause there is a game on) BREAK IT, in fact buy something you can't afford and save the receipt to return it later. But by all means, don't deal with your spouse or girl friend or at least break the deal if you do. That is my sound advice -- avoiding divorce 101.

No! This is how wars are started. Think about it.... Queen X flirts with King Y from another nation.... next thing you know, war. Or a little different but the same thing.... Bill Clinton, Monica Lewinski foolin around all the while the bad guys are planning and doing bad things...result? War... It's all Bill's fault (and all you libs say its George Bush's fault - I say flirting leads to WAR) :lol8:

I have a deal with my husband regarding anniversaries, birthday and holidays - don't do anything. That's right, we don't do cards or gifts. Never have and it's been over 7 years together. It was my choice. There was an occasional dinner out before.

Now, if it's my birthday, I'll go buy myself a gift if I want. None of this hinting crap and waiting for somene else to get it for me.
