I thought my sister was kidding when she told me she went to a restaurant (downtown New Orleans) by this name:

Mother Cluckers

Owner Shane Finkelstein is revitalizing the CBD lunch scene one restaurant at a time (see Nacho Mama

funny :2thumbs:

there is a restaurant in san francisco named phuket

of course phuket is pronounced something like POO-ket, and is an island in thailand, but you can imagine what many jokingly call it

once when i was in greece about 15 years ago i saw a store that i am sure they wanted to call "tid bits" but something got lost in the translation and instead it was called "tits and bits." somehow i think they really didn't make a mistake :haha:

There's a Phuket restaurant in San Jose, CA, too.

In Santa Clara, CA there was a place next to Santa Clara University called Cluck U. But, they changed their name a couple of years ago to be University Chicken (http://universitychicken.com/).

My favorite restaurant name I've seen was "Pina's Pizza," say it out loud and think about it for a second. :2thumbs:

I think Fuddrucker's makes the BEST hamburger in the world. I've gone way out of the way for one, and I almost never go by one without stopping. (Ooops, almost said "pass one".) Sandy, eh?
