UNC "The Pit" Break Up

Did you guys hear about this? This guy (Ryan Burke) created a facebook event and gathered 3000 people together to dump his girlfriend on Valentine's day for cheating on him. Burke has a local acapella group sing her a song, and then instead of proposing, he calls her a slut and breaks up with her. This is without a doubt one of the worst breakups of which I have ever heard.

She didn't look real heart broken to me.

I like the idea of this, to some extent. But I felt like he could have just told her that he wanted to marry her someday, until he found out she cheated on him. Then told her that he hopes him dumping her in front of 3000 people hurts as much as her cheating on him. (Not those words exactly but something along those lines)


The way he did it, he just came off looking horrible and you feel sorry for her. Still in case things ever go awry with Ruth (my wife), it is good to have some pointers.

Ruth (my wife) is 10 times cooler than I am (I married way up). If we ever split up, it would be her doing the splitting because I'm crazy about her.
