The National Park Service and the Bryce Canyon Natural History Association are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individual(s) responsible for shooting a cougar kitten.
The kitten was shot and killed in Bryce Canyon National Park east of the Mossy Cave parking area near the Tropic town line on Friday night.


The park and the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources are investigating the crime and are requesting help from the public.

Anyone with information can contact the DWR Help Stop Poaching Hotline at (800) 662-DEER, Lt. Scott Dalebout at the DWR Southern Region Office at 865-6100, or Chief Ranger Brent McGinn at Bryce Canyon National Park 834-4800. Callers may remain anonymous.

What kind of a scumbag would do such a thing? Here's hoping he's caught and strung up by his embarrasingly small private parts.
