I stepped through the prong of a belt buckle on Tuesday and went snowshoeing today. I was limping yesterday morning and now I'm nearly 100% (with the exception of the scab of where it happened). Anyway I was just marveling at the human body and I thought I would share that.

I wasn't marveling at "my body" (for the record) but the human body in general. If that post wasn't clear, I'm just really grateful for how cool our bodies are.

Man, you really are an upbeat person. :2thumbs:
I once bent my leg completely sideways at the knee (dropped a 1500 lb granite slab on it). It stuck that way until I went into surgery. I severed both cruciate ligaments, and pulled the medial collateral off the bone. They fixed it, and I can now hike, climb, cycle, swim - almost anything except kneel (yeowch). You're right - it's very cool.
I also really marvel at how hot the human body can be.
Well, about half of the population.
Well, many of that half of the population.
Well, a few members of that half of the population.
Well, OK, Halle Berry. :ne_nau:

I work in Health Care and I am amazed every day at what the body can do to heal. In a lot of cases all we do is keep a persons body stable enough that cellular metabolism can take place and their body does the rest.
The human body is great until you start aging :roflol:
