I took a spin today around Utah Lake. It was 40 degrees and not bad riding weather, so I headed out. Of course by the end of the 3 hour ride, I was a bit frozen in places. But a great day for a ride and nice to double the temps all the sudden. :2thumbs:

That looks awesome. I have seen a few bikes out lately but mine is still hibernating. Looks like a nice ride.

That's the Tintic Standard Reduction Mill. Here are a few links to info about it:

The first time I ever went to Nutty Putty Cave, we stopped for a swim in the warm springs just below the old mill, then we hiked around the ruins for a while. Pretty neat place.

Hey... thanks for the call....

I spent the morning with your ol' man in the shed putterin' 'round. Got the tire irons affixed to the XR then worked on his Sluice for a bit.

Would rather have been riding....

Sorry moo. I'll call next time, I always figure its too late on a last minute deal like that. I got the idea at 2. Anyway, here is a picture of my custom toolbox on my KTM. It has 3 tire irons, patch kit, C02 gun, tools, etc. Ive had it on there for a year and a half, no issues.

Home Depot about 12 bucks.

Nah, no lock. I don't ride this bike in public much. And actually that "U" bolt on the end of it just spins the end of it off. But its pretty hard to turn. So you have to put a screw driver or a stick in it and use it as a lever to get it started and then it will turn off. Its actually ABS pipe with a couple clean out ends on it. Sombeech can explain more.... :blahblah:

I like your tools set up - noticed it last time we rode. Unfortunately on the 'L' I have the battery/fuse box on one side and the exhaust on the other. I've seen a similar tubular kit affixed to the front of the frame right above the skid plate - looks like it would collect all of the mud and crap off the front tire... possibly not be able to open it when needed!

Soon as the weather warms we need to do our Pony/Lake loop... April??
