After his wife told him about the affair, Tourk approached the mayor about it, then resigned.

From what I understand, these two guys where pretty good friends, Gavin and Alex. To his wife's credit she came clean to him but honestly, nothing stings like betrayal. Its unfortunate that this is a fact of life.

Not sure if anyone is still interested but this covers the "Man Code". Sleeping with a friend or ally's wife, pretty much the worst offense a guy can do. I'm thinking even though he's quite popular he might be toast.

Funny how the men really don't give a crap about sleeping with a married woman or having an affair..... but betraying a friend is out of bounds.
