Just another new guy

Greetings every one,
One of your group pasted a link on the Geocaching forums and needless to say I am pretty impressed.
About me,
I am a former Scoutmaster with almost 25 years experience in scouting. Before moving to Utah 6 years ago I lived and played mostly in Washington state and Northern Idaho. In scouting I camped over 200 nights paddled over 300 miles of flat water and white water hiked and back packed over 200 miles. I have also taught rock climbing and rappelling to literally hundreds of young men (and a few girls too).
Since moving to Utah I have found around 1100 Geocaches. Bagged 10 peaks, hiked countless hundreds of miles. And just this last October did my first Slot Canyon. I now consider Moon Shine Wash the most exciting adventure since coming to Utah.

Good to meet ya Scout. Your going to fit in nicely. I am an eagle scout myself and its quite ironic that a compadre at work just told me that he was attending an eagle court tonight. He just got done doing a winter snow cave camp out with his troop.

Welcome to the site! I've run across alot of your posts on the geocaching site...on there I am simply 'wliedtke' - Ive been in scouting my entire life...registered for 30 years...and just last summer my youngest got his eagle
