i finally got around to digitizing a couple of images from negative i have
blown up over the years. this has always been one of my favorites. this was
taken during sept 1997. we spent two days hiking the riggs spring loop,
camping in the meadows to the right of the back cliffs in the image. those
cliffs at sunrise were simply GLORIOUS.
also there was a hurricane off of the coast of mexico. it was spewing
moisture-laden clouds directly at southern utah. these low-lying clouds were
rushing across the sky, casting pockets of beautiful filtered light on the pink
cliffs. it was a beautiful day. i blew this photo up to 20x30.
i just wanted to share it with you all.
