I now have enough coin for a big party with lots of booze and hookers... cute ones, not the cheap ugly ones. :haha:

And does anyone need an extra 7 1/2 points? I didn't have to use them :lol8:

Ole DiscgolfDivers it too ashamed of those OVERRATED Buckyeys too make an appearance hear. Probably had something do do with that comment about Ohio State and Boise not being even close to in the same league.

Take it easy. I wasn't going to dog out on anything. I just got back from Ohio tonight (about an hour ago). I couldn't believe how bad that game was. I still don't have a voice (and I was only yelling in the first quarter). There are actually about 10 good excuses I could give you guys why the game should have gone the other way, but when it comes down to it, Gators won and the Buckeyes lost and that is the way it is.

As far as the Big 10 goes. Purdue and Minnesota had losing records in the Big-10 and should have been in bowl games. 7 of 11 teams from the Big 10 were in bowl games and only 4 of them should have been. Michigan and OSU both looked awful just awful. OSU's offense had a good excuse (after the opening kickoff return, the person who did it (Ted Ginn Jr.) sprained his foot and was out for the rest of the game. The offense is largely built around Ted Ginn taking two defenders to cover him and leaving Anothony Gonzalez open to receive the ball from Smith. With out Ginn the combo just didn't work and they looked bad. There was just no excuse though for the Buckeye defense. Even though Florida had played 3 weeks more recently than Ohio State, there is no excuse for looking that bad. They weren't missing anyone and just looked awful. I really tribute a lot of how bad they looked to Urban Meyer's good coaching.

Before the game I read an article that said if OSU and Florida played 11 times, Florida would win 2 of them and one would be this night. I think that was a very good assessment. I realize that the Buckeyes looked awful and if you guys didn't follow them this year (as I did) I can understand you thinking between Michigan and OSU getting spanked that they sucked, but they really were good teams that just looked awful in their bowl games.

P.S. Even before OSU lost I supported OSU giving BSU a shot. If Urban Meyer would be willing to play Boise State, it would go a long way to prove that Meyer crying about the tournament wasn't just self-motivated (since as soon as Florida was 2 he stopped talking about it).
P.P.S. I stopped by Mount Rushmore on the way home. I thought it would be a lot bigger.

Come on... No excuses.... FU did this with a running game fabricated from smoke and mirrors. I don't disagree that OSU has a more well rounded team..... but I bet Urban would beat OSU 9 out of 10 times if he has at least 2 weeks to prepare.

Look, Florida did win and they looked great. Nobody can question or argue that they blew OSU away that night. I'm sure you don't really want to hear all the reasons I think that game would normally go the other way, because they are just "excuses".

Now on this site, we mostly talk trash, and I love it. Talking trash is different from talking real football. I enjoy talking trash and I totally have it coming for this one, but we really would have to talk legitimate football for me to really explain how I feel about that game.

So in the mean time. I ran my mouth off, and I have it coming. So go ahead and keep it coming.

I could talk "real" football with ya for hours.... and even regal you with tales of the coin I made off this game from the other "experts"... But I can sum it all up in one word.....

Scoreboard!!!
