At time mark :48 you can see the little trip lever that releases it. I wonder if it automatically resets itself.

And I wonder if it's a weight that recoils it back, or a spring. You could make all kinds of stuff like this.

I'd love to find a place to build stuff like this, I could probably find some place on my family's property down by the Weber River, through the trees there. I'd probably enjoy building it more than riding it, because I just don't have the right bike to handle that.
