This is the first helmetcam footage I ever shot, and ever since then, I've been wanting to redo it. At first, I made it into two different videos, I just thought there was too much good footage to cut.

Then, throughout the year, I've just learned to keep videos around 5 minutes, and only one per trail. People don't want to spend all day watching them.

So, I finally started to remaster the old stuff. I did the Snowbasin one the other night, and it only took a couple of hours. I used to try and time the scene changes to the beat of the music. Not anymore, that was too much work, and it didn't really matter that much.

Now, I just pick a song around 5 minutes, and cut the footage down to that. And I also throw in a couple of pictures just to give it some variety.

Here's the latest JEM Trail video, from February 2006. This was with accadacca, greyhair biker, fourtycal, KillEmAll, Mark, and myself.

Forgive my ignorance, but where is the Jem Trail?

This is just below (vertically) the Gooseberry Mesa trail, which is also just South of Zion Nat'l Park.

Once again, you'll see the Dark Sith Lord rise from the shadows.

I'd love to do that. I know the Hurricane Rim spurs off of this, and Gould's?

the rim trail is about the only one i know the real name of. go to utahmountianbiking.com they have great maps of the area. one area that they do not have that we have found done there we call the rollercoaster. if you start at the brige on the virgin side, you start peddling up the road. soon you will see a bunch of motorcycle tracks and they head up towards a saddle...follow that up to the saddle and then at the top you just keep following the trail to your right...man what a blast! there is also one that if i remember, is called the old wagon trail..or some shit like that...it heads out towards the town of virgin, runs along the top of the overlook, kinda by the phone towers...nice ride...but the rollercoaster..man if you are down that way and get a chance try and find it, it is a blast!
