My wife got one last year - get them direct from the manufacturer in Orem... they give you a discount at their outlet shop. 3 hp motor makes quick work of anything you can imagine. Lifetime warranty on the pitcher and blades. They supply these bad boys to Jamba Juice, Juice Tree, and the likes - commercial version has the big safety hood - same motor and blades...

Avacados... well.. they are too soft! they pulverize in seconds then you spend 10 minutes trying to get it all out of the blades....
