Yeah.. you just like that sort of stuff. No big deal. The rover just stalled in a big puddle. We hitched back to Kanab, at dinner, then got picked up and headed back out to get it. It dried out by then and we drove it home.

It is different - odd hoodoos. They are on the backside of the huge White Pocket monolith. In the background is the popular Wave - North Coyote Buttes. There was a gorgeous rainbow back there when we were there but it was too far and too dark for a good picture.

I love hiking when it's cold, and in remote areas. I guess it calls to my desire for solitude. I want to be at White Pocket right now. Alas for a 20-hour drive. :?

Yeah..... long drive to head out and explore one little pocket of sandstone. The Europeans travel clear to the USA to do it. I just don't get it. I mean is pretty out there, and I can see people planning long trips around Zion and Bryce. Maybe it is the remote area that gets to them?
