Where can I go sledding or tubing on the wasatch or towards park city? Preferably the lazy man's way, somewhere that has a tow line to get us back to the top

Soldiers Hollow up by Heber City has a decent one provided the runs are groomed. They have tow line to take you back up too

Gorgoza, its just off I-80 on the south side you will see it before the exit, you cant miss it!

Take the Jeremy Ranch exit (#141) off I-80 and proceed to 3863 West Kilby Road (frontage road on south side of the freeway).

A towrope would be nice.

Try to go somewhere that has friendly snowmobilers cruizin' around to take you to the top. Then you've got untamed hills to fly down.

We sometimes go just below Snowbasin, at the Art Nord Trailhead. That's where these videos is from:

Around here we go to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes. It's a ball. Hills and hills and you can go with or without a tow.

For those of you that don't know where that is....

I should go out this winter and take some action sledding shots

I forgot to mention I'm planning on taking my 3 year old.

Since we're onto the topic of snow, anyone know of any good deals on snowboards in the valley? My brother broke his and I might buy him a replacement for xmas.

Hands down worst time of the year to buy a board. What size and price are you looking for? Full setup or just the board?

Size, dunno. Price, prolly around a hundred bucks (just say no to name brands), just the board.

Your best off looking at petersons or garts for a cheep board .. check your local mall...
"Just say no" coming form the Jamis Jockey ... i bet we will never see you riding a huffy :naughty:

LOL actually my brother's words. I'd rather push my bike than ride a huffy....
Although my bikes aren't "mainstream" name brands....Two Jamis bikes and a Surly....wife's is a name brand (Giant).....

Despite the expense, the spawn had a grand time at Gorgoza. Video:
