Granted it would be rough to have training ruined by salmonella, but the rest you are just too young to understand the passion of training that way. Rocky got where he is by training the old fashioned way ---- its hard to change that sort of thing and for the movie it sells. It's the passion. It gets to the old guys that train outside. My husband is sort of like that. I want a nice treadmill in a comfy room, he heads out to the hills at 6am and would hate a modern day gym and the social life of it all. :eek2: It's a man thing and a non-modern man thing. I understand your point however, that the younger crowd can't identify. :lol8:

I know, saw this preview before Casino Royale the other day. I thought it was a joke as well. I think they should make another one after this where Rocky is in a nursing home, and starts drinking ensure and lifting wheelchairs to shape up. "Rocky - Battle of the Geriatrics!"

I loved old Rocky movies growing up, it is just funny now, after 20 years or so, he is coming back. I will probably see it, one way or another.
