Nice site...thanks. What knots do you find yourself using most often? A top five sort of list. I would guess:
1. Figure eight
2. Double figure eight
3. Bowline
4. Water
5. Double fisherman

1. Overhand (this is how I tie two ropes together.)

2. Water (tying slings)

3. Figure 8 (for belays)

4. Bowline

5. Flemmish Bend (rethreaded figure8)

1. Clove hitch (biner block)

2. Water knot (tying slings together)

3. EDK (or overhand knot for tying two ropes together)

4. Square knot with double-fisherman back-ups (for tying two ropes together)
