UUTAH slot machine game

You'll notice, out of the 300+ images in the bar above, you'll see some letters appear once in a while. This is what they'll look like:

To win the game, each of the 5 photos must be taken, or displaying, the same person. The letters can serve as wildcards.

The prize? Status change of your choice. How do you claim your prize? Do a print screen when you win. Show us what the Image Bar looked like.

Obviously, many of us are capable of photoshopping our images into the Image Bar. We all know this, so honesty is the name of the game.

Options may also include a bike in each picture. Or, a slot in each picture WITH SOMEBODY IN THE PHOTO. We'd have to do that because there are a lot of slots & landscape pics, so we've got to narrow it down a bit.

Or possibly, a body of water in each pic. Remember, you've got your wildcards. :2thumbs:

If you have a question, just print screen the bar, post it here, and ask if it's good enough. You'll receive feedback from everybody.

We could have everyone that thinks they have a good match post in a thread for a month period, with a screen shot of course. Then the moderators would pick the top ten and all uutah members could vote on the best match out of the ten. Obviously if you get "uutah" you would be a winner or the grand champ for that month. The voted winner for the month would get a special rank ("November Slot Machine Champion" or something) all of the next month as the reining champ. :ne_nau:

It seems to me that, if you know the IP address of the winner, you can verify their win by checking the site's referrer logs. If the referrer logs show that their browser requested all five images within a period of one or two seconds, and each had the same referrer (it would have to be a page from uutah.com), then it's legit. :2thumbs:

On your keyboard, just above the "Insert," "Home," "Page Up" trio of keys, there is another trio of keys that should read "Print Screen/SysRq," "Scroll Lock," and "Pause/Break."

To get a screen shot, push: <shift> "Print Screen/SysRq".

Next thing you have to do is paste that screenshot into a program that enables image editing...like Paint, or Photoshop. You can paste it into Word, but you can't edit it (that I know of anyways).

Actually, I don't have to hold the shift key. I just hit the Prt Scr button, and then copy it into Paint.

Of course, you'll want to crop out the other stuff so the picture isn't huge.

Actually if you do CTRL + ALT + PRINT SCREEN it will only capture the active window. That way you can restore down (shrink down) your web browser window before capturing it. Then after you paste it you have less to crop.

CTRL + ALT + PRINT SCREEN is great for when you get error messages. You and capture them and then copy it into an email to the IT guys rather that typing:

Here's one if I understand the game right. No wildcards even. The bar has a picture of a person each doing a different activity. Ok, it's a stretch but I'm just trying to play the game.

This is how it'll work. I'll create a thread of "November's candidates". Then the ones that have a legitimate case can be voted for in the Poll.

We have to do this, because I doubt anyone will ever get the UUTAH up there, that's just a very rare shot.
