We decided to have a little fun with the video camera in Arches Nat'l Park.

Yeah, Cam asked about the FF permit price FIRST, and then the Grand Canyon. This way, she wouldn't tell us to get the hell outta here, there's no way you losers are going into the Fiery Furnace.

True story from SLC. Someone tourist stopped me and ask where they could see Mormons. I said they were all over around here. They then asked "well, what do they look like?"

OMG that is too funny! When my FIL comes to visit, he always ask, "Is that guy a Mormon? How about that guy?" It never stops.

See, I never got why some LDS folks think that gentiles think Mormons have horns. Wouldn't it be the other way around? :ne_nau:

It actually used to be a rumor, back in the day. Some people seriously thought that LDS members were so satanic, they had little nubs on their heads.

I assumed :ne_nau: they were looking for Polygamist rather than a typical Mormon. Maybe that is because I live near Colorado City and we have a lot of them around here. They are interesting and they do dress different. :cool2:

Well back in ol' Indiana I would be the good girl compare to most, but out here I am surely the one with the horns!

Naw, this goes way back. You don't hear it anymore, but it was actually said amongst the early settlers as they would pass through Utah on their way to California.

Two of my favorite rumors are first, it was believed that there was a tunnel from England to the US where the missionaries would kidnap the young good looking girls and take them through the tunnel to the US to marry them. (No wonder there are no more people in England with good teeth :lol8: (for you sensitive types, that is just a joke))

The second was a rumor that you don't want Mormon's building a temple in your neighborhood because they will keep you up all night due to the many lights from the noisy hearses driving up to the temple with all the dead bodies to baptize them. :roflol: That is my favorite one.

BTW, I did have someone once ask to feel my head for horn nubbins. Oh the disappointment they had when they felt none. I told them the horns only come out at night. My law partner has a hard time hiding his cause he is as bald as Kojak. :haha:
