I might as well take credit for the top image. I took that of rockgremlin, I believe in upper chute or LWH. Anyway it should be rockgremlin by accadacca.
I like that photo too... :2thumbs: :lol8:

woot, I take credit for 2 out of the listed pictures as well....one of them has rockgremlin in it as well (the shadows) :eek2: He is too photogenic in my opinion :naughty:

BTW this image http://uutah.com/forum/Photos/RotatingBanner/P/26.jpg is NOT photoshoped or edited in any way. I just looked up and snapped a picture, I haven't realized the sun was directly above me until I got home. It was the little Rainbow arch (or Corona).

I've always wondered about that. I still can't figure out how the inside of the arch is so well-lit with the sun on the opposite side.

I did use a fill in flash, but that arch is huge, so I have no idea how it got such a color.

but light IS being scattered off the back wall at all angles, which then can reflect off of the arch back to the camera.

apparently it's enough to get that great glow ... but i agree, that it's impressive it came out so well. nice work kazak :2thumbs:

Here is another perspective of that arch, it's not my picture (I don't think.. :ne_nau: ), but it's give you a perspective on the size of this thing.
