A friend at work showed me this site and I have tried it out today. I made one out of a silver .50 and a 'sandwitched' one as well. I have drawn the edges out, and will try and finish them tomorrow. Its kinda fun, and neat to see it happen.

Just finished two rings, one from a quarter (my son wanted one too) and one from a 'sandwitched' coin. It came out pretty good, and I think I may leave the hammer marks in it.

It ended up being just over 1/4" band, with the lettering inside reading "Liberty' & '1974' and on the other side 'United States of America' & 'Half Dollar'

The Pics are kinda blurry sorry.

I cant wait to finish the silver!

I think the Ben Franklin will look better than the Kennedy. The lettering on the of the Franllin would read 'In God We Trust' - The position on the Kennedy would not show up on finished ring.
