Well I am finally making time to post some picts from a little day excursion I took back in July. My girlfriend and I spent the day hiking around the area and looking at the falls. What a beautiful place this is, I never can get enough of this area. Well anyways here are the picts.

Cool. Yeah, I first saw these falls one time on the way home from the Uintas. I just pulled over to the side of the road, and happened to stop at that spot, I didn't know they were there.

Wasn't this location used in some stupid teen flick, like Drive Me Crazy?

How does one get there?

This is about 20 ft from the highway on your way to Spirit Lake and such, I believe.

This is located just off the Mirror Lake highway, there are signs that you can't miss. We hiked up and down the river quite a ways, there are lots of different waterfalls.

We rappelled down the falls a few years back. Kind of silly to since they're so low angle. But with how fast the water was, it would help hold you from getting swept down the falls. Actually pretty fun.

I've always wanted to do Slate Creek Gorge just below the falls. Yeah you could probably walk around most the obstacles, but staying in the watercourse might be fun.
