Does anyone know what kind of spider this is? Is it harmful to humans?

It is almost two inches across (including legspan), and is apparently very well fed. I think it eats cattle. :ne_nau:

That is a cat-faced spider. Apparently they are harmless.

It's been about two decades since I've seen one of those, but I do recall seeing one when I was a kid and it freaked me out big time.

Thanks! Actually, my wife thanks you. Its been freaking her out ever since we noticed it. I like to keep spiders around - keeps the other bugs in check.
