I'm exploring my options out there. I used to put all of my stuff on www.putfile.com and just hotlink it here. Then, for some reason, putfile is crapping out on my home computer using Firefox, but not at work. :ne_nau:

Then I moved to www.youtube.com for uploads. I converted all of my footage to Divx format. I liked the fact that I didn't have to compress the footage, but I think they just did that on their own. I compared it with putfile, and putfile's resolution looked better even at a lower quality!

Then I moved to http://video.google.com/ I used this when it first started, and it took a couple of days for my footage to go through the approval phase, so I dropped it. Now it seems they have lost the waiting process, and viewing is immediate.

Out of the 3 players, I thing Google is the one to go with. Tell me what you think.

Here are 3 identical videos, same resolution, same footage. You be the judge.

youtube.com (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2wKQ2y7dy80)

Putfile.com (http://media.putfile.com/Helmet-cam-mtn-bike-BST)

I rip all my DV to QuickTime using iMovie and post it on my own website. I pay $6.95 a month and I get huge amounts of site space and bandwidth. Here they are...

http://tv.isg.si/site/ doesn't have an online video player, but it is good for uploading videos to. Never had a problem with it. :ne_nau:
