It's tomorrow night. Should be ruined nicely by the moon, but the girls don't have to know that we already knew that. Just get out to a secluded place and say "Dang, we can't see the meteors. What do you want to do now?"

Oh boy! I have dug a hole now! Of course they do...just not during a meteor shower and a full moon. Marriage does kill spontaneity at times. Anyone agree? :ne_nau:

I wouldn't blame marriage, but maybe you mean responsibilities and routine of life in general? :ne_nau:

so is there really a metor shower or are you guys just trying to get some?
Yeah, there's really a meteor shower. And actually, I think the moon doesn't rise until after 10:00 pm, so there should be a brief window between dusk and moonrise when you can see some meteors fairly well. If the moon wasn't a problem, then just before dawn on Saturday morning would be the best time to see them.

Yeah, meet up with price1869 in the park around 9:30 tonight. He'll have the wine.

Ahhh, a meteor shower, out in the middle of nowhere, bundled up against the cold, watching the sky alive, with a fungus among us...

:ahh:

The meteor shower was awesome, and as we drove back to Austin at 3 am we actually got to see a couple of meteors, including one fireball.
