Introduction

My name is Ben. I am from Layton Utah. I like hiking, backpacking, canyoneering, camping, snowboarding... I have been reading on this site for sometime now but just joined. My most recent trip was last weekend to Escalante. We did Neon Canyon and made a quick visit to Calf Creek Falls. It was a great trip, perfect weather. Someone on the canyoneering page asked for Neon conditions. I will post a report there. I guess that's about it. Great to be aboard.

Thanks for the welcome. Sorry, I don't have a cooler story for the name. I'm not really a hockey fan and I don't own a pair of redwing shoes (though I hear they are really good shoes/boots). When I was signing up I couldn't think of a name. My climbing pack was sitting next to the computer and I glanced down and stole the name from it. It is a Kelty Redwing.
