I was on the backcountry website today and under current conditions, Imlay, Orderville, Mystery and Virgin Narrows Dayuse Trail are closed because of flow above 140cfs.

Don't forget to check before you jump in your car for the long drive south.

For anyone playing along at home here is the link to the current flow that the NPS uses to issue permits.

North Fork Virgin River

River flow rate must be at or below 120 cubic feet per second (cfs) before the National Park Service will issue a permit to hike or canyoneer any of the North Fork of the Virgin River canyons. This includes The Zion Narrows, Orderville Canyon and Kolob Canyon. The one exception is Mystery Canyon, where permits will be issued with flow rates up to 140 cubic feet per second. In an average year, the river flow exceeds this level from March through early June.
