There's a fairly large group of non-canyoneers heading through Moonshine Wash (http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GCTW6X) on April 8th, and you'd be more than welcome there if you don't end up making other arrangements. A few of us will press on out a more difficult side canyon and do a loop back to the trailhead. This is all weather-dependent, but it looks like Saturday will be partly cloudy, not much chance of rain.

Thanks for the offer and I do believe that I'll meet you at the trailhead.

I'm driving a Blue Chevy Blazer. I'll bring my ropes.

Looking forward to it.

Didn't think ropes were needed for Ding/Dang loop, :ne_nau:

By the way, anybody know how much snow is on top of the Swell, if any?

A week and a half ago, there was almost none at about 6,700 feet elevation in the southwestern part of the Swell. With the warm weather down here lately (it's only been getting down to 45

So far the weather for Saturday looks good.

My truck is full but If anyone else would like to meet us there, feel free.

Ya, ropes almost entirely unnecessary for Ding/Dang. To be on the safe side, a short length (maybe 30m) could come in handy.
