adding a photo to my posts

Hey there moderator,
I previously had a very small icon of a photo on my posts but erased it. I attempted to add another photo but it was not accepted.
Assistance please. Also, about what size (pixel X pixel) photo can it take?

Are you talking about your avatar? This is the photo that appears under your name on the left. If this is the one you are talking about, the limits are 100 X 100 pixels, and no bigger than 49kb in size.

Or, if you are talking about adding a photo(s) to your posts, the max filesize is 256kb, and the "desired" pixel size is 640 X 480.

Is it giving you an error message?

No it was the avatar. I'll adjust the photo to 100 x 100, then see if it gets in. Thanks.
