Anyone care to elaborate on how you go about posting images on this site? I have read all I can and can't figure it out.

You can use this program to free rpogram to size you pictures..... http://uutah.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=129

Also read this from the FAQ page:

"How do I add an attachment?
You can add attachments when you post a new post. You should see a Add an Attachment form below the main posting box. When you click the Browse... button the standard Open dialogue window for your computer will open. Browse to the file you want to attach, select it and click OK, Open or doubleclick according to your liking and/or the correct procedure for your computer. If you choose to add a comment in the File Comment field this comment will be used as a link to the attached file. If you haven't added a comment the filename itself will be used to link to the attachment. If the board administrator has allowed it you will be able to upload multiple attachements by following the same procedure as described above until you reach the max allowed number of attachments for each post.

The board administrator sets an upper limit for filesize, defined file extensions and other things for attachments on the board. Be aware that it's your responsiblity that your attachments comply with the boards acceptance of use policy, and that they may be deleted without warning.

Please note that the boards owner, webmaster, administrator or moderators can not and will not take responsibility for any loss of data."

Thanks James. I was actually wondering if anybody read it.

That resize powertoy is really cool. It's very quick, and leaves no questions.

I have read all I can and can't figure it out.

I know what you mean, man. There's a ton of info on here, and sometimes it's hard to find the time to read it all. You'll pick it up though. There's nothing wrong with asking, though, even if the directions are posted somewhere. :2thumbs:

I noticed you had the "[/img]" in the end of your post, and it looks like you were using the "image" button to post your photos. That "Img" button is when you have a URL of a photo, and you paste it between the two "Img" buttons. So, for example, you'd hit the button, paste your URL, and hit the button again. Always preview if you're not sure.

Now, uploading your photos from your machine is different. You hit the "Browse" button below the message body, find your photo, and hit "Add Attachment". The only thing that will thwart your plan, is if it's a ".bmp" file, or if the size is too big.

But click on that link just above, and hopefully it will answer your questions. Thanks for asking, and not just sitting back quivering in fear. :cool2:
