This is why I dont ski at Brighton. Too many out of control kids that seeming have no idea how to turn on a snowboard. It really scared me the couple of times I was there, I wont go back.

I hate to generalize, and I dont think I am - I've definately seen this kind of behavior over and over again. I'll stick to Solitude where there's hardly anyone there and Alta without the teens on snowboards.

I know, I'm probably setting myself up for lots of abuse from you snowboarders out there, ay? :-)

Hey, I snowboard and sometimes I feel my life is in danger at Brighton too :eek2: Lotsa kids going lotsa fast. I guess I got used to being alone in the trees at Solitude so I feel a little clausterphobic with so many people around.

no worries K. :2thumbs: Next big storm we need to get organized and hit some pow at Snowbasin or Powder Mountain!

Yeah, I agree....I could use less of the snot nosed kids on boards. No offense folks.....

Sombeech and I and another hit Nordic Valley tonight. No crowds and had a good time. Wait until you see the size of the hot dog that Sombeech got in the burger barn place. Ridiculously big and looked like a bad porn flick. Must have been a foot long..... :lol8:

I couldn't put it all down.

This is true. I must admit I was flying pretty fast last night. I was straightlining it on a few runs, but I had good control.

It would be hard to make rules on how fast you could go. Hopefully these "novices" will fall before they get going too fast, and learn to slow down.

That other forum said there was a video. I think showing it would be educational. Last night we saw a skiier come down out of control and go off a drop he didn't know was there.
